Hand Felted Landscape Tapestry Art, Abstract Art
Sold out£18.00
These two abstract landscape paintings are wet felted using a tapestry method. The colors are various shades of purple, pink and greens and are made with merino wool, sari silk ribbons, fruit bags and embroidered with cotton. There is a lot of texture in these Fiber Art works.
The one with natural edges is approximately 12x12 inches and the one with cut edges is approximately 11x12 inches. I am selling these individually but would prefer to sell as a set as they go really well together. They are sold unframed. The photos showing them framed are for guidance only. I would suggest that they be framed in a deep frame, behind glass, 14x14 inches minimum leaving at least a 2 inch border. You could have them floating and your picture framer could advise the best way for doing that.
Felting is the art of creating fabric from wool fibers using water, soap, and friction. Each item takes 3+hours to make. This is truly a hand made item and is one of a kind.
